About us

Kingdom Life Frankfurt (KLF) started in May 2007. God called Richard and Frances Morschel to plant an international church in Frankfurt that would equip God's people to know Him and make Him known.

After being hosted by Treffpunkt Leben for 2 years, God opened the way for KLF to meet at the Christliches Zentrum Frankfurt in response to the Lord's direction.

KLF is an international group of people from different nations including Australia, Bulgaria, Cameroon, England, Germany, Ghana, India, Kenya, Korea, Malawi, Malaysia, Nigeria, Scotland, South Africa, Trinidad, the United States and Zimbabwe. We recognise that Frankfurt is a gateway to the nations and that God's mandate for us is not only local but global in its influence.

The purpose of all our meetings is to build a spiritual people – disciples of Jesus who are led by His Spirit and who live for Him. With a passion to encounter God in our Sunday meetings and give Him room to do what He wants to do, we enjoy giving time for true worship that is God-focused and giving the Lord time to minister to His people in His presence and through the preaching of His Word. Look here for a list of our current meetings...

Although KLF is an independent, non-denominational church, we have chosen to be associated with Kingdom Faith (Horsham, England) and to be actively involved in God's work through the Church in Frankfurt.

We have a heart for missions both locally and globally.

Richard and Frances Morschel are senior pastors of KLF. Richard was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and has lived in South Africa, Brazil and Belgium. He moved to Germany in 1987 to study music at the college of music in Freiburg. Since 1991 Richard has been employed as co-principal bassoonist in the Frankfurt Opera orchestra. Frances was born in Glasgow, Scotland and moved to Germany in 1985 to study flute at the college of music in Freiburg where she met Richard. Richard and Frances have been married since 1989 and have two children, Timothy and Christopher.
